One of the many beautiful gardens in Corwall, Glendurgan is just a few miles away in Mawnan Smith. There are wonderful gardens to explore, a maze to get lost in, and the path leads down to the picturesque fishing village of Durgan. The gardens are open from March to October.

The famous St Michaels Mount and village of Marazion are just 12 miles from Gweek. The mount is shrouded in local legend: when the tide is out you can walk over on the "Giant's Causeway". Perched on the top of the mount surrounded with beautiful gardens is a Medieval Castle.
About ten miles away in Falmouth is the National Maritime Museum in Cornwall. It contains lots of interactive displays about navigation at sea, boat building and maritime history. There are lots of interesting objects on display and events going on from time to time.
